esl win the Lighting Energy Impact Award

25th November 2019 – Energy Saving Lighting win the Lighting Energy Impact Award for its work with Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.

Great news we have won the prestigious Lighting Energy Impact award at the Energy Awards 2019.
The results of the Energy Awards 2019 were revealed on the 21st November at the Hilton Park Lane, London where the energy industry elite came together for a night of recognition and celebration of the sector’s achievements.

Against such organisations as Heathrow Airport, Marks and Spencer, Selco Builders Warehouses and Luton Airport, we won this award for our work with Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in updating their lights to LED.

We were praised by the expert judging panel, who were drawn from across the energy sector. The panel commented: “We were impressed by the proven results of good project management and delivery; the judges unanimously selected the Energy Saving Lighting NHS project.”

Our CEO Mr Paul Daly commented:

“We are so proud to win this award in recognition of ESL upgrading over 10,000 luminaries at Maidstone Hospital saving the trust over £550,000 and 3925 carbon tonnes per year.   With stiff competition from organisations such as Heathrow Airport and Marks and Spencer we are delighted to win the Energy Impact Award.  The Lighting upgrades we did to non-critical services delivered strong financial and ambience benefits. These quickly drove a second phase of the project that realised valuable long term environmental, welfare and financial benefits for the NHS Trust.”
